Love is comprised of three basic elements: passion, intimacy, and commitment. Relationships are a progression of these elements. Passion is seen as a person is being drawn towards another based on the things attractive. Intimacy is the time when couples deepen their relationships. Commitment is when they decide to take their relationship into a more serious level and build a life together. With all these talks about breaking apart going on, you cannot help but wonder whether your present relationship is worth saving, worth furthering, or not worth keeping.

Here are some relationship tips for you.

Communication. The role of communication in relationships is obvious: it opens doors to more understanding. It is a common problem for couples to blame each other for being insensitive, for being insecure, for being immature, and the list goes on. While communication in relationship is often discussed in the context of an impending doom, most couples ignore its uplifting feeling. Self-expression has been one of the most influential drivers to have changed history, to have caused a stir, and to have prompted lovers to stay together forever. If you are passive, it is time to start making amends.

Learning. While you and your partner communicate about what your relationship lacks and what you can do about it, do not leave your lessons behind. Most relationship tips say that falling out situations is caused by ignoring salient cues which are often simple. Believe people when they say that a simple act goes a long way. One indicator of learning is not committing the same mistake again. If you have been hurt by your partner, do not let the same reason to be a cause of pain in the future. Learning in relationships also involves a certain level of maturity that once is enough and doing it again does not make sense anymore.

Encouragement. One challenge in a relationship involves the principle of accommodation. You cannot force yourself to like something that your partner finds indulging. Hobbies, ideals, and personal preferences are some of them. What you can do is to encourage your partner to keep on going especially if it is something related to accomplishments. You can help by being on the background while not being actively involved. Another way is to try doing these things. Oppositely, if you happen to find similarities between you, try doing these activities together.

Play. Most people see relationships as getting serious about all aspects of life. This is not an ideal all couples adhere to. At times, a relationship is considered monotonous leading to boredom and culminating in break up for a simple reason that both parties just lost the touch. Adding some fun is also an ingredient in relationship tips to be a successful couple. Travel together, change your routines, go out on a formal date or dine in with both of you cooking. There are a lot of activities you can enjoy out there. Sometimes, it is better than most claims of cooling it off because one or both of you lost yourselves somewhere.
