However by using the crate properly, you can successfully potty train your puppy.Here are a couple of tips on using a crate for potty training:- use the crate from only limited time periods, particularly when you cannot monitor your puppy or you’re away from home (grocery shopping, work)- in case your pup is out of the crate, monitor him constantly, as he may potty at any time. Don’t reprimand your puppy if an accident happen. That is the last thing you should do. Just use one of your commands that you are using for that ‘e.g. ‘No’), and take the pup outside.
